The new Consumer Rights Act 2015, which came into force 6 months ago on 01.10.2015, really does help to simplify the law by bringing together a number of Acts of Parliament, such as the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, in order to make everything clearer and more straightforward. It also adds some much needed sections which simplify and modernise consumer law.
